Who requires this qualification?

• This qualification is designed for learners working in, or aspiring to work in the construction industry.
• Its objective is to prepare learners for employment in construction, giving learners the knowledge required to undertake their jobs safely.
• Successful learners who also complete the CITB Operatives Health, Safety and Environment knowledge test can apply for the CSCS Labourer’s card.

By the end of the course, you’ll understand:

• The principles of risk assessment for maintaining and improving health & safety.
• The importance of safe manual handling in the workplace.
• How to work safely at height.
• The main health risks in a construction environment.
• How to work safely around plant and equipment.

Entry Requirements

• No prior qualifications are needed.
• A basic understanding of English is required to complete the course.

Certification

• Certificates are processed within 3 – 5 working days.
• Your certificate will be sent directly to your email once issued.

CITB HS&E Operatives Test 

• Along with passing and receiving a certificate for this course you will need to have sat and passed your CITB Operatives Test within the last 2 years!
• If you have not already passed your citb operatives test, we can book your test on your behalf at your nearest test centre on the next available date!
• We usually book for the following week (depending on test availability)
• You can also book this your self directly with pearson vue  (create an account here!) 

CSCS Card Ordering Service

We can order your card on your behalf once you have passed the CITB HS&E Operatives Test and we have received your certificate for your Level 1 Course (3 to 5 days).
