The card maze, untangled
Most people assume it's one thing. It's four, and knowing the order saves you a fortnight and a wasted booking.
A one-day Level 1 Award in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment, run in Hull and capped at eight learners.
A separate exam, and the bit most people trip over. Sit it the same afternoon on the premium package, or book it yourself before or after your course day.
We complete and submit the CSCS application for you, within five days of your pass, so it is not left for you to chase.
Cards are usually processed within five working days and land in the MyCSCS app first, so you can be working before the plastic arrives.

Why people come to us
Sit through most Level 1 courses and you get slide after slide of writing, read out at you in a darkened room. We put a picture up instead and talk about what it shows, using the job you actually do as the example. It is why people remember it, and why they pass.
Every course is capped at eight. If someone is quietly lost at eleven o'clock, we can see it, and that is the whole reason the pass rate stays where it is.
Nobody is made to read aloud. Extra time, a reader or a voiceover on the CITB test can be arranged, and we do the asking for you.

The Level 1 course is a qualification you sit with us. The CITB HS&E test is a separate computer-based exam. You need both before CSCS will issue a card, which is exactly why our premium package puts them on the same day.

You get a free resit. We rebook it, work through what caught you out, and get you through. It is included on the premium package and on the Level 1 course, not charged as an extra.
