Booking terms & cancellations

A booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email with a reference beginning PT-. Places are held on a first-come basis and courses are capped at eight learners, so a date can close quickly.

Joining instructions and revision material are sent as soon as a booking is confirmed. Please read them, because on card packages the revision genuinely matters.

Individuals pay by card. Employers can be invoiced instead, payable on receipt; purchase order numbers are welcome and will appear on the invoice. Certificates and cards are released once the invoice is settled.

Prices shown on this site are per person and include materials, refreshments, awarding body registration and certification. There is no VAT to add.

You can move to another date free of charge up to five working days before the course, as often as you need to.

Inside five working days we can usually still move you, but a charge may apply where a test slot or awarding body registration has already been paid for.

Cancel more than ten working days before the course for a full refund. Between ten and five working days, half the fee is refundable. Inside five working days the fee is not refundable, though you may send someone else in your place at no cost.

If we cancel a course, which is rare but weather and illness happen, you choose between a full refund or a transfer to the next available date.

If you don't arrive and haven't told us, the fee is not refundable. If something has gone wrong, ring us. We would far rather move your place than keep your money.

The Premium Card Package includes one free CITB HS&E test resit. Further resits are charged at the test fee only.

If you don't pass a course assessment, we will normally re-run the assessment with you at no charge.

Tell us what you need when you book, or at any point before the day. Reasonable adjustments on the CITB test, such as extra time, a reader or a voiceover, are arranged by us on your behalf, and are not charged for.

Photo ID is required for any course leading to a CSCS card application or a CITB test. Without it we cannot submit the application, and the awarding body will not accept the registration.
