Pathways Training

Pathways Academy, online CSCS trainingYour training, open at six in the morning

The classroom stays exactly as it is. The academy is what happens on the other six days: revision before the test, refreshers that would otherwise walk away, and inductions done before anyone reaches the gate.

Why bother

A classroom holds eight people and a Friday holds one course

That is the ceiling. Every course is capped at eight because that cap is the reason the pass rate is 98%, so growth cannot come from cramming more chairs in.

The academy lifts the ceiling without touching what works. Revision, refreshers and inductions run themselves, while the classroom stays small, personal and exactly as good as it is now.

Refreshers stop walking away

An annual asbestos refresh is either half a day you have to fill or a sale you lose. Online it is neither.

Revision becomes visible value

The revision is already why people pass. As a proper course, it is part of what the £250 obviously buys.

Employers get a reason to stay

A dashboard, a training matrix and expiry reminders are worth paying for every month, not once a year.

It sells on teaching days

Friday is already full at eight people. The academy takes bookings while you are stood in front of a room.

How it fits together

Nothing about Friday changes

This is not a replacement for the classroom. It is the thing that wraps around it, before and after.

01

They book a classroom day

Same as now. Friday in Hull, or whichever date suits, booked on this site in two minutes.

02

The academy opens straight away

Their account is created on booking, and the refresher is waiting. They can work through it on the sofa, in the van, or at six in the morning before a shift.

03

They arrive already half-way there

You are not starting from scratch at half past eight. The conversation starts higher up, which is exactly what keeps a small group moving.

04

It stays available afterwards

Six months later, when they have forgotten what the hierarchy of control was, it is still there. So is next year's refresher, ready to sell.

For employers

The training matrix, kept up to date by itself

Every classroom certificate and every online completion lands in the same place. When a principal contractor asks who is cleared for what, it is one screen rather than an afternoon in an inbox.

  • See who has completed what, without emailing anyone
  • Assign a course to a new starter before their first shift
  • Certificate expiry reminders, sent before a principal contractor asks
  • Download the whole training matrix as a spreadsheet
  • Add and remove people as the crew changes

One website

It shouldn't feel like a bolt-on

Learners should never know they have crossed from the website into the academy, because as far as they are concerned they haven't.

One brand, one domain

The academy sits on learn.ptsy.co.uk with the Pathways header, logo and colours. To a learner it is the same website, not a third-party portal they have been dumped into.

Booking creates the account

Someone books a Friday course on the site, and their academy account is created in the same moment. The revision material is in their inbox before they have put their phone down.

Every course page links both ways

Classroom pages point at the online refresher, online modules point back at the classroom date. Nothing is a dead end.

One place for certificates

Classroom certificates and online completions land in the same learner record, so an employer chasing a training matrix has one place to look instead of an inbox.

Where it lives. The academy runs today at pathways.learn.squideo.com. Pointing it at learn.ptsy.co.uk is a DNS change and an afternoon of branding, after which it is entirely yours.

Have a look at it properly
