Level 1

CSCS Premium Card Package

Walk in without a card and walk out with the hard part done. You will complete the Level 1 qualification and sit your CITB HS&E test in the afternoon. Your CSCS card application will be submitted for you within three days of your pass.

  • Know your legal duties, and your employer's, under health and safety law
  • Recognise safe practice for manual handling, working at height and PPE
  • Pass the CITB HS&E Operatives test with confidence

The day itself

How it runs

    9:30am

    Arrival and brews

    Paperwork, ID checks and a proper introduction, with no queueing at a desk.

    10:00am

    Level 1 Course

    Worked through as a group conversation, with real site examples rather than slide after slide.

  3. 3

    3:00pm

    CITB HS&E test

    Sat at the test centre across the road. You get your score report the moment you finish.

What you need

  • Photo ID (passport or driving licence)
  • A basic understanding of spoken and written English
  • Your revision done before the day, and we'll tell you exactly what to look at

Your certificate

Your card application is submitted within five days of your pass, and most cards are live within a week. They appear in the MyCSCS app as soon as they land, so you can be working before the plastic arrives. First-time applicants receive a two-year card, renewable for five.
