CSCS Level 1 Course in Hull – £100 per person

Looking for a CSCS course in Hull? Our Level 1 Health & Safety in a Construction Environment course is delivered every Friday in Hull City Centre in small groups of no more than 8 learners.

Pathways Training has over 10 years’ experience supporting learners of all abilities to complete their Level 1 qualification, prepare for the CITB Operatives Test and progress towards gaining their CSCS Card.

Who requires this qualification?

  • This qualification is designed for learners working in, or aspiring to work in the construction industry.
  • Its objective is to prepare learners for employment in construction, giving learners the knowledge required to undertake their jobs safely.
  • Successful learners who also complete the CITB Operatives Health, Safety and Environment knowledge test can apply for the CSCS Labourer’s card.

What will you learn?

By the end of the course, you’ll understand:

  • The principles of risk assessment for maintaining and improving health & safety.
  • The importance of safe manual handling in the workplace.
  • How to work safely at height.
  • The main health risks in a construction environment.
  • How to work safely around plant and equipment.

Entry Requirements

  • No prior qualifications are needed.
  • A basic understanding of English is required to complete the course.

Certification

  • Certificates are processed within 3 – 5 working days.
  • Your certificate will be sent directly to your email once issued.

CITB HS&E OPERATIVES TEST AND CARD ORDERING SERVICE

We can also book your CITB HS&E Operatives Test on your behalf at the nearest test centre * (Bond St, Hull) and once you have passed and we have received certificate for your level 1 course, we order your card!

  • Tests are usually booked for the week after the course (subject to availability)

The Price for this service is £60 (£23.50 test fee/£36 card fee + 50p admin charge)

** This option does not include revision for your test, but you can download the official app for £7.29

** Please Note

That from Feb 2024, new applications (and those whos cards have expired for over a year) will initially receive a 2 Year Card, which can be renewed for additional 5 years upon expiry (fees apply)
