Our 2026 pass rates, in full

2 September 2026 · 2 min read

Plenty of providers claim a high pass rate. Very few publish the number. Here is ours for 2026 so far, and how we get there.

Ninety-eight per cent of the people we put in front of the CITB HS&E test this year passed it first time. The handful who didn't came back for their free resit and passed on the second attempt.

We publish that figure because it is the only number that matters to someone who needs a card. A course you enjoyed but failed the test after is a wasted day.

How the number stays high

It isn't clever marketing. It comes down to three unglamorous things.

We cap groups at eight. If someone is quietly lost at eleven o'clock, we can see it.

We send revision out the moment you book, not the night before.

We talk about the test all the way through the course, so the format is never a surprise.

The other thing worth saying: we will tell you if you aren't ready. Pushing someone into an exam they are going to fail helps nobody, and it is why the one-to-one package exists.
